Another wagon we completed a huge amount of work on was this epic 323 wagon. The project included custom-built coilovers for the front, along with all-new Wilwood brakes front and rear, giving the car both performance and safety upgrades.
We also tidied up the car to ensure it could pass certification in the new year. During the build, we fitted a Haltech IC7 standalone kit, essential because the car had no fuel level or speedometer while running an RX-8 6-speed box behind a NA 13B peripheral port engine.
To solve this, we cut a custom trigger wheel for the driveline and installed a Hall effect sensor. Wired directly to the dash, this provided a simple and reliable solution, giving accurate speed, fuel level, pressure, and temperature readings. After a full tune-up, the car was running beautifully.
