This FD Bridgeport turbo engine began its next chapter, built for the circuit and ready to deliver reliable power on track.
The engine arrived in rough shape, aged and unknown, and ultimately suffered a major failure with broken apex seals that caused significant damage. We stripped it down completely and started fresh.
Using all-new Mazda components, combined with careful porting and precision machine work, the engine was rebuilt to the highest standard. Once completed, it provided a strong, dependable foundation for competitive racing and many more miles of rotary performance.
