It’s always great to see a clean S1 RX-7 get fully sorted and upgraded. For this project, we focused on maximizing performance and reliability while keeping the car’s iconic character intact.
The driveline was upgraded to an S3 rear-end, gearbox, and brakes, ensuring the car can handle more power with confidence. Alongside this, we completely overhauled the fuel system with a Weber 48mm IDA setup to improve throttle response and efficiency.
Under the hood, we built a strong 12A Bridgeport engine to replace the very average motor that came with the car. With this robust new heart, the RX-7 now has a solid foundation for serious performance—and it’s only a matter of getting some run-in kilometers on the new block before it really shows its potential.
Being part of a project like this is always exciting, blending classic rotary charm with modern performance upgrades to create something truly special.
